I have a lithograph of a young girl on a carousel. The signature appears to be plajomenecy. The first 4 letters could be something different but the omenecy is pretty clear. Any ideas? It is number 201 of 375 and has the stamped letter of authentintication from the Societe de verification de la Nouvelle International of New York and Paris.

That authentication doesn't carry any weight, probably from the time it was painted, every tom **** or harry (during the victorian era were painting) and some were good, some were not good. So you have a very nice painting but dontg look for any value unless you want to go through the procedure of having it authenticated, searched and verified. I personally don't think it is worth doing that. But, maybe if you thought you had a Degas, or Monserat then that would be exceptional and worth a lot of money from that time.

Did you ever find out who the artist is? I have a painting by the same artist, and have no clue who it is :/
