I have no idea why your "ex" is running or who is after him or why the Police won't help him. It would seem that unless you want to also have someone after you, you need to turn him away.

This is not your problem - it IS his problem.

Perhaps he needs to leave the area.

1. why are they chasing him ?
2. what are they doing when they "come" by, most gangs if they wanted to kill him would just break his door down and kill him ?
3. was he in the gang and now trying to get out ?

If the gang ( and it is a organised gang) and they have indeed put a contract out on his life, he needs to move in the middle of the night, to another state away from any and everyone, with no contact to any old friends.
