I got shopfliting charge by police in GTA. I made maistake taking stealing $75 items from one store. I have a court date. What should I do to save myself from this charge? How can I come out from this charge? Can I contact store manager and request to take off this charge? What could be the punishment for this charge?

No, the store owner can not "drop" charges at this point. The only way OUT of this now is to prove you did not do it.

You may try and work out a deal with the DA for a first offender program ( assuming you have never had any other criminal charges) for probation and then charges droped after that

I have to go for finger print by 28 July and having court date by 29th July. I hired a lawyer who is going to go to court by 29th July. I have plan to go to USA by 29th July for 2 days. Can I cross US Border on 29th? Do I get any troubles to enter USA with theft under 5000 charge? The charge is not convicted (not proved) yet.
