Okay so write now I have all my bangs this color

But I REALLY want to get it out! I've had it for about 3 weeks and, IT WILL NOT LEAVE! The color refuses to fade. I really want to get rid of it because I plan on dying my hair a rich purple. Also, can I just apply purple over the pink? In reality, the pink I have is lighter and brighter than the one in the picture. So could I just dye it purple right a way instead of having to wash my hair about 30 thousand times?
