May I ask how old you are?

The best time, and the ONLY time to get pregnant is when you are ovulating.

I'm not sure I understand what you mean by "how long." Would you mind clarifying that for me please?

Here is a very good website that I recommend you read.

Understanding Ovulation : American Pregnancy Association

    Ovulation usually occurs between periods.

May I ask if you are physically, emotionally and financially prepared to have a child? How long have you been married?

    Did you read this part?

    Quote:

    Tracking Ovulation:
A woman's monthly cycle is measured from the first day of her menstrual period until the first day of her next period. On average, a woman's cycle normally is between 28-32 days, but some women may have much shorter cycles or much longer ones. Ovulation can be calculated by starting with the day the last menstrual period (LMP) starts or by calculating 12-16 days from the next expected period. Most women ovulate anywhere between Day 11 - Day 21 of their cycle, counting from the first day of the LMP. This is what many refer to as the "fertile time" of a woman's cycle, because sexual intercourse during this time increases the chance of pregnancy. Ovulation can occur at various times during a cycle, and may occur on a different day each month. It is important to track your cycle; there are tools online to help you do this: Order Fertility Tracking

You are a female, asking about gay marriage in NY and Arizona, correct?

Please don't use text speak. If you're old enough to consider getting pregnant you are old enough to write out full words.

Why? Because are you are asking about gay marriage on two other threads and pregnancy on this one.

I don't think I've asked an unusual question under those circumstances. You appear to have little or no knowledge about how your body functions which makes me think you are quite young.

    How old are you?

Well if you would read up top you would be able to see how old I am, and I am allowed to ask as many questions as I would like, it shouldn't matter what circumstances they are under.

jami_toni is 19, in a lesbian relationship, and is trying to conceive (per her profile).

Hopefully that clears up any confusion as to why she asked those two questions.

Yes, and she also is interested in getting married in either NY or Arizona.

And, oh, I'm reading "up top" - it says, "When is the best time to get pregnant? befoe or after i have my period? and how long?"

Which part of that is the age?

The best time to get pregnant is when you have saved up about 2 years' salary (so you can either stay home or can afford day care for the first two years), have been married 5 years, and have a husband with REALLY good insurance. You should also get pregnant when you are absolutely positive that you make enough money that you will not need ANY government assistance--including WIC and food stamps.

The rest is technical, and will vary from woman to woman.
