I have 2002 sequoia sr5. It has been very reliable until I hit this problem. The check engine light is on. I was told at the dealership that the code was for one of the catalytic converter. I was referred to a local muffler shop for the repair as Toyota indicated that their price was 1200 because this just wasn't what they do. I went and had the 1(2 on truck total) replaced. A week later light is back on. The code is showing for the catalytic converter that I had replaced and the side I did not replace. The light on my drive is also out. Which I have also replaced. Before I replace the other catalytic converter could there be another problem? I hate wasting money when this is costing me 400+ for these repairs. Could there be an electrical problem? I am due for emmission testing and need help.
