I love a guy who is brahmin and I am a rajput girl ,I have talked to his parents they are not agree for our relationship just because am nt from their caste , and they are making the situations more difficult, they have started searching a girl for him , and they will engaged him very soon,. I have tried my levels best , his mom doesn't want to meet me , she is very angry with his son , she is ready to leave home, even she has tried to finish her life... I am not in situation to understand all these things.. *** tell me what should I do now... and my love he is the only son of his parents he has to survive for them . His uncle (mamaji ) who supports his family a lot, he is the main person who is not agree and making the things complicated, he is ready to go at any extent (honour killing ).my love doesn't want to make scene or create any problem , that's why he is ready to go with the decision of his parents , tell me how should I deal with it .

If he will not stand with you and help convince his family, then he is not the husband for you. Sorry. I doubt this love arrangement will work.

Yaa that's true , bt still I feel his mom has threaten him dats why he is not trying again... we want the help of outsiders now... what you guys say.. should I involve third pesron to convince his parents... >Removed<, that's his dad's number, please some one talk to him tell him that we are mature enough and casteism should be removed now,, ask them to support his son.. we need their blessings.. please someone talk to him... don't tell him about my online discussion otherwise he'll be so angry... I love him a lot... don't want to loose him like this... I will involve my parents but its necessary that they should get agree for this..

My heart goes out to you. This is what is happening so much now in India -- people of the younger generation are falling in love but their parents and older relatives say no, you cannot love and marry that person because of the caste system. The young people do not care about the caste system and want to do away with it.

Unfortunately, the parents and elders in the family are still in charge and have control of things. Family shame is a big problem if their children do not marry within their caste. Maybe in ten or twenty years things will change as the older people die and the younger ones gain control, but right now you have to respect his parents' wishes for his future.

And if we called his father, how would we explain how we found his phone number and know about this love problem? I have asked that admin or a mod remove the number from this thread. A phone call is not possible.

I am sorry... number should be removed.. I apologise.. but its tough for me to move ahead... don't know why I feel there is somethng which is missing and which can help me.. thats why I tried it on this site... but you are also right... I am trying to come out of it and to understnd it..
