    A tenant leaves leaves a flouescent light on 24 hours a day. Can this cause a fire?

    The answer is: Yes. No. Maybe.

    If everything is wired properly and the fixture is in good working order then normally no, this should not be a problem at all.

    I would say it would not, as long as everything is wired correctly and nothing appears worn out or damaged in the fixture.
