    Hello c:

    Please tell us what you're trying to do, and what's stopping you.

    I never heard of those papers, but that doesn't mean Georgia doesn't have 'em I think, once a child is illegitimate, he's illegitimate FOREVER.

    But, that doesn't stop a father from visitation or custody or ANY of the things ANY father has.

    The "papers" you are talking about are actually called "Affidavit of Paternity." This should have been signed at birth. Is there a reason that they weren't?

    No you would not need an attorney to complete an Affidavits of Paternity if the mother is in agreement. If she isn't then I would get an attorney.
