So I got probation for 3 months for a shoplifting charge, 1st offense. I didn't realize my last payment was due on the 21st of June. I thought I had until the very end of June to pay it. So I violated my probation. Am I going to end up in jail?

Probabl y not. I've noticed that people here in Ohio only get jail time for 4th degree felonies and not probation of violation crimes. Just pay the last payment as soon as you can in person to your PO and see what happens. You may have to attend a VOP hearing but maybe not as this would be a waste of everyone's time if you just pay up now..

I have the money, that's no problem. I called and asked if I could just pay it now and the probation office said no.
