The truck shifts fine when driving normal but when you have your foot in it it winds out to far and I have to let of so it will shift sooner then I can put my foot back down. Any help I would appreciate it.

Drain and clean the pan and magnet, replace the filter, and refill with Mobil 1 Synthetic ATF. Try to drain the torque converter and ATX cooler, too. If this doesn't improve up shifts and down shifts nothing will. I've had great success with this on older trucks.
