My Kenmore stack able washer model #417.98702892 is leaking water and I do not know why or were the leak is coming from, please help.

I'm unemployed and need to repair the damage in a most inexpensive way as possible.

The best way I know to find the leak is to pull it out from the wall and if possible remove rear cover so you can see the hose connections. Fill the tub with water and see if it is leaking at any of the connections, also look around all connections. You should be able to see a white deposit and water around any leaking connections. If it is at the water pump you may have to run it to see it leak. DrTom4444
