    My cat ate her kittens?
These were 8 week old HEALTHY kittens, not sick or new born. Is she psycho??

Are you absolutely certain she ate them, or might they have wandered off, or been taken by another animal or even killed by another cat? Were they indoors, or outside in some protected area, like a shed?

They are a bit too big for a mother cat to have eaten. If they were newborn, maybe, but not that size.

I'm with Paleo, unless you saw them being eaten the more likely explanation is they wandered off, kittens certainly are curious and can get themselves into trouble easily.
There are so many stories of kittens stuck inside walls or in roofs... you know the old saying: "curiosity killed the cat".

I am 100% sure she ate them-- we caught her doing it. They were is a protected shed. We went to feed them and she was eating one of them.

She ate 8 week old kittens?

    Are you sure?

    This just isn't logical.

Could they have died some other way?

Did you see her eat all of them, or just one?

Are you sure she was eating, and not licking, cleaning, or disposing of an already dead kitten?

Why is she in the shed?

Wondergirl finds this helpful : We still share a brain, Alty. My questions too. An 8-wk-old kitten is HUGE.
Exactly. We're not talking about newborn kittens here. An 8 week old kitten is a lot to stomach (no pun intended, maybe).

It's just not logical, which in my mind means that something else happened here.

    How many kittens were there?

    How dark is the shed?

How secure is it? (i.e. how easily could kittens get out? If a kitten's head fits through a space, the rest of the body will follow)

Are you sure it was a kitten she was eating?

Are you sure it wasn't a Tom cat.
I have heard of them killing kittens and eating them , but not eight week old ones.
