You are friends, keep it that way, and don't get carried away with flirting or assuming he is jealous. You already know he doesn't like you that way.

Having a friendship with a gay person, is no different than having a frienship with anybody else, of any age, sexual orientation, station in life, etc.

The most important thing in any long standing relationship are differences- no matter what they are- and finding common ground without trampling on eachothers' territory.

If you are not gay, and your friend is, I hope a common bond of respect and communication rules the day.
