When I was in the Army, my sons biological mother send me a copy of her immigration id, telling me that she got the marriage annulled. Her id said single. The first marriage isn't active. That marriage is legal. It's your second which is not a legal marriage.

You hire an Attorney to locate wife #1 and you file for divorce. Child support/custody/visitation and paternity for the child can be settled at the same time. Of course, if she's illegal and you've known it that opens another question.

Maybe wife #1 is whatever she is but I would try to be more "composed" when explaining the situation - you're the one who ends up looking bad.

You have a bigger problem here. Bigamy is a criminal offense. You could face jail time if convicted. Do you still have the proof that the 1st wife claimed to have the marriage annulled.

Also what do you mean that she abandoned your son?
