The starter in my 1994 Jeep will not work after hot.
I have a 1994 Jeep Grand Cherokee. I have replaced the starter cause after I drive for about 15min and shut it off it won't crank. All I get is a clicking noise. If I let it sit for 30 or 40mins, it starts up fine. What could be causing my Jeep to do this? I have also changed the starter relay, auto shut down relay, ignition relay and switch.

. Remove and fully charge the battery.

. Clean battery terminals and cable connections (both ends). Clean the bolts and surface area where the starter motor fastens to the engine.

My fiancée cleaned where the starter bolts to engine. He also cleaned the connecter that goes on to the starter. I will cleaned the cables that go to the battery. I have had people tell me the nuteral safety switch could be doing to. But I will do what you suggested. Thank you for answering my question.
