I have been living in my house sense I was a baby and now I'm 12 years old I have an older sister who is 17 I have been hearing werid stuff in my house like footsteps coming down the hall to my bed room my older sisster has been hearing the same stuff as me like one time I was in the kitchen and our basment door is in the kitchen to and I was making me something to eat and I heard big heavy footsteps coming up my basment steps first they started soft but got louder and my grandma saw stuff like a little girl and I caught a voice on my phone say (IM HERE IM HERE WHAT ARE YOU BLIND) (a little girl voice) and I have her saying her name the ghost girl name is mary but I still don't know if my house is haunted and once me and my sister were in the kitchen and our basment door OPEND all the way we were so scared we ran and last night I heard a man cough and people having a conversation in my kitchen can u *** help me to figure out if my house is haunted I'm still scared to be alone in it .

Many things happen that cannot be explained.

When a house is heated by the sun in the daytime then cools

The expansion and contraction of the framung, floors, walls
Are capable of makingan entire symphony of different noises
That can be mistaken for thumps, footstepseven voices, and laughter and moans.

When we get scared we perceive things differently

And strange unexplained things are scary.

But over 90% of the time explanitations are found in everyday things.
So it makes sense to start looking at these first.

Keep a written record of the time, date, and what happened.

Try to get recordings, pictures, video, or any thing you can think of to maybe help.

Weather, the angle of the sun , reflections from passing cars, bikes, toys or sounds houses make
Also plumbing can cause hundreds of different sounds . A lot of normal but not well understood
Things like these can seem something they are not..

The length of time this has been going without escalating (so it seems from your description) to me would have me looking into the rational things that may be mistaken for paranormal.

Maybe if you could isolate an incident or two (ones that have caused you the most concern) and give as much detail as possible it will help make you better understood.

We are here to help not ridicule or judge so do not be hesitant to say anything.
I have seen enough that I learned anything is possible.

You're rather young... and it's hard to deal with this subject at that age. Have you spoken to your parents about what you believe you are experiencing?

I do believe in spirits which are just wandering souls of the dead asking for your help or simply surveying. The little girl seems to want you to help her, she is probably just getting frustrated trying to talk to you... I would kneel down with my eyes closed and simply ask her name and why she is here, try giving her something to write on or pick up the phone so she can speak to you. She can not harm you hun :) Please do not turn to occult things for answers because ouiji boards and séances because it will open the door, so to speak, to other entities that can harm you. They know you can see them so there are probably others waiting for your help, but if it is too much you can just pray to God and ask the ghosts by name to please leave you alone because you are scared and ask they find another in the world to help. If that does not work *** comment and ill see what else I can figure out :) No worries hun spirits can not harm you.

Spirits CAN harm people. I'm not here to spread fear... but I am here to help people know the truths in the spirit world. Contacting a spirit via phone is no different than resorting to a ouija board or having a séance. You are communicating with spirits... that's the bottom line, and it's not something I suggest for ANYbody to do.

Only some spirits can harm a person... a lost soul of a human can't harm people but there are more than one type of spirit. I don't know if its because I opened my eyes so to speak or if its because I am native american but I have always felt presences... never saw them because I did not want to... but they were there... usually waking me up at 3 or 330 am :P Besides... the girls have already made contact she said her name out loud... no demon gives its name willingly.

There is a lot of superstition that plagues demonology. Demons don't say their name willingly... you should never say the name of a demon out loud... this type of thing has no real grounding. The people who are walking in the authority over demons have nothing to fear. Demons love ignorance as it gives them more room to operate. The less one knows about them, the more they are allowed to do.

Then why does the spirit in their house want them to know it's there? It makes no sense for a demon therefore it might be something else.

There could be any number of reasons they manifest the way they do. Some want to spread fear, some doubt, some probably just want that attention. There are some things we will not know in this lifetime... and why spirits act certain ways will probably be one of them. I don't believe ANY of them are confused and unable to "move on".

I still do not think enough information has been given to say that there is a spirit at all .

Of course that is still a possibility too.

Please believe me... Jehovah is Gods tre name and only he has the power to tell the demons what to do. Do you know why people make the mistake of blaming Him for suffering and unruly demons? Mostly its because people think He is the ruler of this world... but it clearly says in the bible "John 5:19, The whole world is lying in the power of the wicked one." The real ruler of this earth is the Devil.

I am curious as to where you found this answer , and what exactly is it an answer to?

I still do not think anyone knows enough about this to say what is really happening.

KT, these cut and paste answers you are giving aren't really helpful. In a legit haunting, you have to deal with it on it's personal terms. Every haunting is different to a degree and needs to be treated as such. I question how much "digging" you did. Either you found a cheap deliverance website or you briefly skimmed the NT of the Bible... as this information is not esoteric. In dealing with a possible demonic situation, your prayer does not have biblical foundation. If you are going to offer someone biblical truths... don't offer partial light, let it all in. Partial truths can be just as damaging as untruth. I suggest you do a little more biblical research in this area before offering further advice.

Then I assume you did all this research with "The New World Translation" of the bible written in 1932 by the leaders of the Jehovah s Witness at the time.

Or was it one of the other versions? I suggest you read and compare the various versions before concluding you have done all the research you need to.

Assumptions like that are dangerous to you and those you are advising .

One more thing , make sure of what you are dealing with. 90% of ALL reported "hauntings" are explained as naturally occurring phenomena that are discovered when the events are investigated by objective open minded people. The truth of the situation is the first and most important objective.
