Transformer on pole blew, power out. Power came on a day later. Put new AAA's in Honeywell thermostat. Did not have to reset the time. Reset the temp. Outside unit hasn't restarted. No breakers tripped, no fuses blown, outside disconnect not damaged. What's up. Thermostat indicates fan and cooling are on, but no fan and no cooling.

Possibility that start-up power surge has blown the capicitor in the condenser unit or even the transformer in the furnace/airhandler,, have seen this happen
