When can you claim parole?

Do you mean when will you be paroled? What did they say at your sentencing?

Have you been to trial, have you been convicted.

When you are sentenced to State prison, you will be given first chance parole date. That will be depend on state, but will be about 1/2 to 3/4 of the way though the sentence.

10 year sentence, parole chance at about 5 years. Assuming you make it, most do not make it on their first chance.
