Yeaa it doesn't matter about the age.. ur 1year apart. Don't let something like that bother you if you really love him... as long as there is an age difference of about 3yrs or less (im guessing so far) your fine.

What do you mean by OK? People will wonder about a girl dating a younger boy. But there is no law against it. If his parents are OK with it, then you can go ahead.

But the fact you are asking indicates you are bothered by it.

As for being in love, it's a rare 16 or 17 yr old that is really in love.
