    Problem with pupy sleeing?
My 10 week old miniture pincher puppy sleeps in her crate at night but wakes as soon as its light and cries and barks continuously until we get up to let her out. This has been going on for 3 weeks and is not getting any better. We have a blanket over the crate to keep some light out. Can anyone reassure us this is going to stop as we can't handle this.

10 weeks is pretty young. She probably needs to use the bathroom, like any baby would in the same situation. You can try putting a blanket over her crate or bringing the crate into your room. This often helps sooth an early rising puppy. Remember, she is doing her job by waking you to let her outside, she needs to potty and it's better her waking you, than you having to clean up a yucky mess first thing in the morning. How long is she being crated for each night, and when is she waking and when would you expect her to wake?

No she doesn't need the bathroom.. she has a training sheet in her crate and also when the crate has been left open she has access to use one there too. And when I let her out she doesn't even go to the toilet. Its where she just wants to be let out. She is in the crate from around 11pm till 7am. We have a blanket over the crate at night. Thanks

8 hours is a long time for a 10 week old puppy to be left any wheres. She's a puppy and they have high energy, so being cooped up for 8 hours she's ready to tear things up! Have you considered bringing the crate in your bedroom?
