If a women is trying to have a kid with her boyfriend(not married) and he can't because of a low sperm count. She then goes to the doc and asked to get A.I. and not to tell her boyfriend what is the ethical and legal things that can happen? Please help.

If she gets pregnant from AI and pretends it was from having sex with him, that's lying and is unethical.
Of course women have been getting pregnant by other than the man they are with for eons, but now we have DNA testing.
When Shakespeare said 'It's a wise man who knows his own son,' he meant knows he's the father, almost almost impossible until now.
Legally, a lot depends on such questions as do they get married, do they even stay together, how much time and money does he invest in the child thinking it's his, and for how long. Or even how low his sperm count is, and how dumb he was for not wondering how she got pregnant.
You want references? That's your job. This site is for help, not doing your work for you.

Artificial Insemnation is a red herring.

Ethically and legally it's no different than the situation we read about here constantly: an unmarried woman gets pregnant (in the normal way), and lets a different man believe that he is the father.

    Hello cyndi:

There are NONE. If the boyfriend wanted to be the person with whom she shared these matters, he could have married her. He didn't. That's HIS choice. Therefore, they're friends with benefits. She owes him nothing, either legally OR morally.
