Is it possible to be pregnant and not know it?
I am a 46 year old woman who had a period in December then nothing in January, period in February, nothing in March, nothing in April, finally in May. I took a pregnancy test in January because there was no period. It came up negative. I haven't gained any weight until now and have some pregnancy symptons. My stomach is now bulging out and my chest is very sore. I feel constant water whooshing around in my abdomen. My heartbeat is much faster than normal, I have bad heartburn. I can't possibly believe I could be pregnant at my age. Is it possible to just not know until you are six months?

It's very possible you are beginning to experience perimenopause at your age. That would account for the fluctuation in periods.
