Is the Jaguar S-Type a good car? In other words, is the quality worth the money?

On a 10 point scale the type S gets a 3 when it comes to value. Its like buying a 10 year old Lincoln LS (both made by Ford at the time). If you can get it for $3k to $4k it's a good buy but some are asking up to $7k, not good at that price.
