Ok so I was a little confuse with the whole french citizenship situation. I was born in 1990 to both Haitian parents, they both were legal residents, and then we moved to the US in 1996. Now I know that the law states that you need to have at least one french parents to be automatically considered french, however that law wasn't pass until 1993. So shouldn't people who were born before January 1, 1994 be automatically considered french. It's a bit confusing. Can anyone help please.
