    Small claims time limit to file in elkhart Indiana?
    How long does a landlord have to file a claim for back rent in Elkhart County Indiana?

    The SOL for a written contract in Indiana is 10 years. Since a lease is a written contract, I would say 10 years.

    Or, if there is no lease, and the tenant was renting from the landlord pursuant to an oral agreement, the SOL would be six years.
