    It's a very old hand-crank telephone magneto. Here are a couple of pictures of some. None of these are exactly like yours, but you can see the similarities:

    TK, it's very strange - I often see questions in the EE forum which show zero answers. Then I submit an answer, only to see after the fact that you'd already answered hours earlier (always correctly of course). For some reason it only seems to happen specifically with you! It's a real head-scratcher.

    Jcaron, I think your referring to a delay in my answers showing up. I had brought this issue to admin several times, and I am told there is only a few minutes delay.

    Perhaps if you mention it to admin may help.

    Yeah, I'll mention it too. That's the third or fourth time I've seen one of your posts delayed by a couple of hours or more.
