What causes colored squiggly lines in a photo, plus a black mass around it?
I'm not a photography expert, but I think the first question would be whether it is digital or on film?
Do you have an example of the photo you can post here or elsewhere? Effects of light can be caused by the camera and its called chroma of pixels. A dark spot can be anything from something on a lens to a failure of a chip to see part of the picture. Low voltage in a camera can cause this also.
Pictures were taken with a Kodak easy share Digital 14 megapixels camera. My friend said this camera is as close to a professional camera, without the expense. He paid about $ 500. I also saw him re-take photos, and could not re-produce the same effects.
I will have to ask my Daughter to attach pics, (she does this for me :) when she 's here OK. I should add, that I am in a ghost Hunting Group, as My Husband and the one that took pics in question. I am one of the De-Bunkers and I want to be as professional as possible. I appreciate All the Help I can get. Thank You. Below I have commented on type of camera, etc. I will try to get back soon as I can with attachments.
It would be helpful to know what you taking pictures of also.
Were you trying to catch a paranormal event ?
I would like to see the photo too.
How long have you been in the De-Bunking business? That can be a mixture of fun, fright and lots of work , it's one of my "hobbies" and has been for several years after I was witness to real paranormal events.
All the new electronics and software have made it a real circus to figure out what is real and what isn't. Almost anyone can fake photos , video, and recordings with a minimum of effort.
Good luck and be sure to post your photo.
