I don't think you are 'served' when charged with fraud. You would be charged in court by word.

Fraud is generally a criminal offense. When someone is charged with a criminal offense, they are arrested. That arrest may or may not be accompanied by an arrest warrant. After the arrest, generally an arraignment is held. At the arraignment you enter a plea and are bound over for trial. Bail, if any, is set at that time.

Now if you want to tell us your situation, we can try to help.

    1. the paper work and its names will depend on the specific area.

    2. In the US, this is a criminal offense and if you are "charged" there is normally a criminal complaint that is filed with the police or with the DA, if there is enough evidence to believe a crime has been committed, a warrant application is presented to a judge who will issue a warrant.

You are not normally "served" the warrant but it will be listed on a nation wide data base ( in the US)

If the police come and look for you specificly they may have a copy of it. ** but may not and are not required to.

You are then merely arrested and placed in jail waiting for your first appearance in court

Please stop posting the same question - asked and answered.

Typing in caps is the same as shouting. It's unnecessary.

NO documents are served - you are arrested. There is no need for service of process.

Again, the police MIGHT have an arrest warrant, but its not 100% that they will.

Why do you think they will have paper work, normally no, there is no paperwork, when you are arrested,
