Can I change my mind in court?
Ending of last year I filed child support from my baby's father. Since then we have gone to a child support meeting and we worked out the paper work but the case worker messed up the filing of them. Now we have a scheduled court date here in a few days and I have changed my mind on wanting the child support. Is there anyway I can "cancel" the whole case? And if not is there anyway I can keep the case open but not collect any money from the father?

TELL him to sing over all rights...
Then they can't collect child support.

First, ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.

Ask the court what is involved in dropping the case. Some places will allow you to withdraw the petition others won't. Some areas will allow you to get an order but not try to enforce it (which In my opinion is the better option).

Frankly, I would not stop the case. It is much better to have support ordered by a court. This protects you and your child as well as the father.
