My estranged husbands parents took my son to mexico 2 years ago I saw him last December for 4 days and he was returned to mexico the department of children and family gave him custody and failed to check on my son after they gave him custody and now he's in mexico somewhere and I want to find him dcf doesn't want to admit they made a mistake giving him custody and they don't want to help find him what should I do?

1. what happened to start with the DCF got involved to start with ?

2. did you have visit rights ?

3.Have you looked into filing for custody, since he has ran off with child ?
Then you would have to hire someone to find and bring the child back

The dcf got involved because the children witnessed him beating me at a neighbors house and the neighbor witnessed it I have visatation rights yes I filed for divorce and filed for custody he is in custody for domestic violence battery and stragulation on me and he has a hold on immagration for deportation so my son is somewhere in mexico with he's parents and he's family here won't tell me where he's at
