How do I file a answer to a summons in a circuit court? I cant afford an attorney.
I have been served for a credit card debt. I called a lawyer and I am not able to afford one to answer this judgement. I am going through a divorce, I have started completely over and can not afford to be garnished. Can anyone help me answer this judgement?

You were just served with a summons or has a judgment been entered?

If it's the former, filing an answer is the easiest part. Sample forms are often available from the clerk of court or on the court's website.

Thank you, so far served with a summons. I appreciate your time and the info, this has been a rough year. Again thank you I will look on the clerk or court website and see what I find.
