How can I find out what is wrong with my dog?
My dog is very itchy all the time. He doesn't like other dogs, oh and he has some weird looking thing comeing out of his eye. I want to be a zooligist but this is my first dog and I don't have much money because I'm only 14.

Do you live with your parents? Will they take the dog to the vet? It sounds like he seriously needs to be seen by one.

The only way to find out what's wrong with your dog is to go to the vet. At 14 you cannot be financially responsible for all the care a dog entails. Dogs can get expensive.

You need to tell your parents that your dog needs a vet. This isn't an option, it's what you agreed to when you took on a dog. If you were hurt, in pain, or sick, you'd see a doctor. Well, your dog needs to see a doctor too.

Sounds like cherry eye, which needs surgery from a Vet. Talk to your parents and contact your vet to see what you can do to make your dog comfortable until you can get him into surgery.

As for the other dog thing, he will need training and behavior modifcation in order to be social with other dogs... Some dogs just don't like other dogs, nothing you can change, that is just how they are. You can, however; train him so you can at least go for walks with other dogs around you.

He's itches: could be a lot of things.. Food allergies, Environmental allergies, dry skin, parasites.. Etc.. Try giving him a bath and see if it helps.. you can look up natural remedies for itchy dogs such as adding oil to his diet.
