GE DBXR453ET2WW - Front drum bearing worn out.
What would cause the top front drum bearing to wear completely through on the top side? I replaced the 2 green and 2 white slides on the bearing a couple of months back after replacing the rear bearing, but now it appears the whole top center of the drum bearing is missing between the slides. Did I miss something while putting it back together? Thanks

I am not sure if the model you show has bearings, but are you talking about a model that has bearings at the front??
I never see that in a drum, this model has a back bearing that is more a ball and snap in a plastic bracket, when you cange the ball, change the bracket and all the parts associated at that.

As you can see from the link, part #313 is called a bearing drum... aka drum bearing. It wore through on the top only. I believe it just unsnapped from the cabinet. That's the only explanation I can see. I'll stick it back together and try it again.
