    MTD lawn melted battery postitive terminal
    MTD 16.5HP riding mower. The mower has melted the positive terminal on the battery. This has happened twice
    In the past month. What is the problem?

    Check your ground cable going to the frame and to the motor.
    If you have a bad ground it pull pull more through the hot side.
