    Hello... just a little confused on how it works... I went and had my first ultrasound and it said that I was 10wks. Did I get pregnant 10wks ago or 8wks? I know it works on when your period is but I haven't had a period for 3months before I got pregnant, I really need this answer please help

    Well... theres 280 days to pregnancy and your egg isn't fertilized until 2 weeks so maybe I did get pregnant 8wks ago, your not a doctor so you don't know

    Does it make a difference? Were you having sex with more than one guy and are not sure who the father might be?

    What? You are 10 weeks pregnant. You got pregnant 10 weeks ago. You don't need to be a Doctor to figure that one out.

    You aren't pregnant approximately 280 days (and, by the way, that's not set in stone) AND two weeks. Maybe you can understand this explanation: "A normal pregnancy lasts 280 days from your LMP which is about 266 days from conception to birth. The first two weeks of your pregnancy includes the time of your period, ovulation and fertilization. Conception occurs approximately 14 - 16 days after the first day of your last menstrual period (LMP)."     I agree with Wondergirl - is there a question who the father is? If so the dates won't help you much because the dates are educated guesses. Only a DNA test of the child and candidates for fatherhood can legally determine the ID of the father.

    And if you want advice from a real Doctor, call one.
