Long distance girlfriend loves me but wants a break?
Ive dated her for almost 3 years and she's a senior in high school in Florida while I'm in college in Arizona. We had some communication issues towards the end and I ended it because I felt she didn't care for me any more even though I did get mixed messages (she didn't seem very enthusiastic about the idea of me going down to see her in Florida but she says she still loves me).

I do love her a lot and may want her to be the one for the rest of my life and she wants long lasting love too. I will admit and I admitted this to her a couple of days after the break up that I should've told her I wanted her to be the only one in my life for a long time and I should've done more in the relationship. We then decided that it'd be good for both of us to be "alone" and work on ourselves since she just got out of her bad home life and is living else where in Florida.

I want to keep talking her because I feel like id lose her if I didn't, especially when she wanted me to show my emotions more in the first place, but should I have her miss me more by not contacting her? Oh, and she has texted me how I'm doing which was just short text conversation but again, I don't know how much I should contact her

Long distances relationships hardly ever work out in my opinion. You just need to talk to her and ask her what she really wants and needs as far as space and beig togher or not. You also might want to consider asking yourself to. Sometimes when people are away they gradually change around their environment. And I'm from AZ and there are a lot of cute girls there (yes I'm one) But the point is if you don't feel like its not going to work or your not happy talk about it and see what the outcome is or get out. I know its hard to brake up with someone that you love and care about but there is true happiness out there somewhere:)
Just remember talk to her first and talk to yourself about how you really feel also.
