A panasonic th42pz8ou TV will not come on, red led only blinks.. When it initially started with this problem you could unplug TV plug it back in and TV would come on, now it only blinks... thanks much

Count the blinks and post back with the number of blinks. Panasonic TVs usually have a blink code that will limit the possibilities.

Also, does it blink right after you plug it in? Or does it start blinking only after you push the power button?

Right now it could be just about anything in the TV.

Do you have any kind of warranty or electronics knowledge?


Also, for anyone else who might come around to help this poster out, the model is actually TH42PZ80U. That's eight-zero, and not eight-oh.
