HIV may or may not even have symptions. And you still have it even if the symptons. Only a doctor visit and test can tell you if you have it or not. Once you have it, you can only be treated never cured at this point

HIV/AIDS is a very serious illness. Once diagnosed with this virus you should have immediately been put on medications to slow the progress of the virus and help with any symptoms you may be experiencing.

If you have been diagnosed and do not have any meds, it is important that you seek a second opinion.

What makes you think it is yeast? Is it possible you have strep throat? Strep throat can sometimes manifest itself with the back of the tongue and throat being covered with "white".

I hope, my throat is somewhat sore, and I hope that is the case thanks for all your help and I pick up my results in the morning. I'm trying to keep a positve attitude but its somewhat difficult not to think about it.

Hiv/aids are slow in progreeion. You can be infected and not knot if for months. If you think you might be infected, get a blood test every three months. You want to see a doctor who specializes in such types of conditions. You can have hiv without having full on aids. But there are still pecautions you need to take. Alsways practice safe sex and always tell your partner you are hiv positive. I'm going with the majority here in praying you aren't positive.
