How do you prime awater pump?
I cut off my well pump to make sure that I did not have any leaking toilets over night. Now my well seems to have lost it's prime. The shower water will ryn then completely cut off then come back on in a couple of minutes.

    Help?

Look on top if the impeller housing and find a small plug. Shut the pump off and unscrew the plug. If your check valve's working you should be able to fill the housing up to overflowing. Turn the pump back on and you should be pumping water. If you can't fill the impeller housing t6hen you have a faulty check valve and it will have to be replaced. Good luck, Tom
