The pain started last night and does not let up. Have taken IB and also Tramadol to ease the pain, but they do not seem to alleviate the constant pain. The pain level is probably about 5-6 on a scale of 10. Have never experienced this kind of pain unless I accidentally hit myself, but the pain usually left within minutes. This pain has persisted throughout the night and is continuing to be uncomfortable presently.
My question is what maybe causing the pain and should I go see my Family doctor?

Certainly - call your Doctor any time you have unexplained severe pain. Tramadol is, of course, used for moderate to severe pain.
