I have the vague memory of watching a movie in the 80's I believe on TV that had a guy that collected all kinds of collectibles. Somehow the guy ended up in the desert with all his stuf and toward the end of the movie he decides to drive in to town, happens to be Vegas I think, and some woman in a limo offers him money for a beer stein he has. I know that is not a lot of info but if anyone remembers the name of the movie I would be grateful.

Are. The episode ends with him and a woman sitting at an auction
Making a fortune selling his rare collection of memorabilia.
