I've been late for 16 days now and I'm scared of what to do this is mhy first missed period... every test I took said negative what do I do I even went to the docs and there home test was negative.. should I get a blood test done? I was going to wait till I was 4 weeks late to retest with a hpt...

Well usually 8 weeks is when everyone I know has taken the tests, some people do not produce a lot of the human growth hormone, which would lead to a negative test. You usually ovulate 2 weeks into your cycle, there or if you are pregnant you would have been pregnant for roughly 4 weeks. Wait a little while longer and take another one.

Stress can also cause a missed/late period.

With my daughter I tested 1 week before my missed period and the test was positive and so was every test after that. But everybody is different. The hormones that the test pick up double every 2 days from what I hear

Hi can someone help me, I had my implant taken out in the end of November 2011 and from then on had a regular period in December and jan but feb I haven't come on atall I'm 16 days late and taken numerous test and they all say positive I fort I was doing something wrong so I went to the doctors to do a test there as well and it came out negetive I've got to go back to the doctors next week to have a blood test, last week the doctor told me I have a really bad bladder infection which is affecting my kidneys could that be affecting the negetive test results? I'm getting really bad stabbing/cramping pains in my belly and severe back pain, what could this be?
