I had a credit card with discover and the people that bought the debt from them is a lawyer office and at first I was making payments and then missed one payment and they sent back my check and then they garnished my wages in 2007. Four years have passed and now they are messing with me once again to try to get payment for this debt. How do I get these people off my back

Since you say they garnished your pay in 2007, that means they have a judgement, so there is no SOL any longer, the SOL is merely the time they have to file for a judgement, since they already have one, there is no SOL any longer.

Not knowing when they got the judgement, ( you should know since they had to file against you in court) But a judgement will be good for 10 years and they can easily get it extended.

So being that there is no sol what should I do now cause now they have file a post juddgement of interrogatories. They say I can contact them what advice can you give me
