Would this be the school you are talking about

Founded in 1960 by Mrs. Esther Bryman as the Los Angeles Colleges of Medical and Dental Assistants, the original Bryman campuses were located in Hayward, Los Angeles, Reseda and San Francisco. In 1975, it was purchased by the National Education Corporation in 1975 and in 1983 it was renamed the National Education Center Bryman Campus. In 1995, the schools came under new ownership - Corinthian Colleges, Inc. - at which time the school changed to Bryman College and Bryman Institute. It wasn’t until October 2006 when the school became the Everest Institute and in April 2007 when it became its current Everest College.

Corinthian Colleges continued to expand and acquired additional Bryman schools, including in California: San Bernardino Campus in 1995; San Jose in 1996; and City of Industry, Ontario and West Los Angeles in 2000. Hayward, San Francisco and San Jose campuses were changed to Everest College in 2006 while Alhambra, Anaheim, City of Industry, Gardena, Los Angeles, Ontario, Reseda, San Bernardino, Torrance and West Los Angeles followed in April 2007.

Corinthian Colleges later added East Coast as Bryman Institute locations with: Eagan, Minnesota and Gahanna, Ohio both added in 2004 and South Plainfield, New Jersey in 2005. Two Massachusetts campuses - Brighton added in 1995 and Chelsea added in 2004 - were added to round out the roster. Eagan, Gahanna and South Plainfield became Everest Institute in 2006 and the Massachusetts campuses followed with the Everest name in 2007.

The Everest difference offers flexible class schedules, hands-on training with professional instructors, online classes and much more. Complete the form to receive some valuable information about our diploma and degree programs.

Former Bryman campuses include these current Everest campuses:

I can not see where they can be transferred, but you will have to contact the schools you want to transfer it to

Short answer: if you have an average of a B or better in foundation courses, namely College Writing I and College Writing II, arts and humanity electives and science electives, they will most likely transfer. Other specialized courses, like managerial accounting, may not.

You need to apply to a university first, then once accepted, meet with the college's undergraduate coordinator and then talk about credit transfers. They have to look at course descriptions and see how closely they match, as well as credit hours.

Bare in mind, although it's in your best interest to have previous credits transfer, it's not in the interests of the college with which you'll be transferring the credits to.

Depending on what school they are talking about, I don't believe the school they are speaking about is recognized by the US Dept of Education , so like one of the 1000's of private schools out there, normally their classes are not accepted at all at other school.

But as noted, you will have to prove the new school with your transcipts and they will decide which if any of your class work can be accepted
