    Photo Electric Timer...
I assume it's a Noma Photo Electric Timer Model # E253712 .The object of the game is to set the Timer to Operate after Dusk for 6 hours.. With Power to the Timer and pressing the Set Button the Letter " F " and 1 through 9 , then the Letter " D " then 1 through 9... Please set me Straight , Thanks

I'll play the game if no one else is going to...

I don't know this for sure, but I believe the various displays mean this:
    Code:

F    "Fail", as in power has failed (i.e. you just plugged it in)
1-9  Number of hours to run after sunset
D    "Dawn", or run until sunrise

You might also notice whether the 1-9 also have the decimal point lit or not. This would indicate another mode like "run from now for x hours". (I don't know whether this mode has the decimal point or the "sunset for x hours" mode has it). You may have to experiment a little.

Hope this gets you on the right track,

Thanks , WallyHelp's. I did some experimenting in the meantime while I waited for someone Bit and took a stab at answering my query.. Truthfully the Unit has tobe at least 6 yrs old and we know Technology has come along way since then. Suffice to say I was in the local Home Hardward Store the other day, picked up a New fancy Timer for under $25.00 Canadian... Thanks Again
