Extra contacts “piggy backed” on the switch
Most industrial switches can have extra contacts “piggy backed” on the switch! What is this mean?

Many times one switch would need to activate multiple devices for an industrial application, as part of a manufacturing process. Most motor operator control switches come with at least two sets of contacts and only one is needed. Note that usually one set is NC Normally Closed, and the other is NO Normally Open.
