After several tries at working things out in our marriage, my husband and I decided to seek a divorce. We have a 6 year old son. I had my attorney draw up a separation agreement in full agreement with what my husband and I agreed upon. My husband agreed to sign it but now has decided that he wants to hold up the divorce as long as possible to prolong an introduction of any other male in my son's life. My husband believes that he can hold up the divorce for 2 years and in that time, I cannot bring my son around another male. Is this true?

He can hold up a divorce, but you may file for child custody and child support in a separate motion in family court.

But I have know divorce cases delayed 4 or 5 years if a person has enough money and attorneys.

Next this also does not mean that a child can not be introduced to a new partner but I would never consider introducing anyone new unless you have been dating them for at least 6 months to a year and be sure it is serious, esp if the child is younger

Agreed, he can't control who you see as long as a separation exists. How to get a separation depends on where you live. ANY question on law needs to include your general locale as laws vary by area.
