My husband is terrified of needles. Every time he gets a shot, blood taken or anything where a needles has to be used he shocks out afterwords. (Turns white/green, sweats and occasionally vomits) I was wondering if anyone else had this problem and if so, is there anything you have done to overcome it or is there anything he can do or take before so it doesn't bother him as much??

Has he addressed why he is so afraid? There must be something that is in his background, that he read, experienced, saw, that is causing this fear.
