In Kansas, I have filed the termination paperwork and it appears before the judge in less than a month. It will go to uncontested because my ex didn't answer his summons. I wasn't sure that it could happen at the same time. I guess I have just been focusing on one step at a time.

Yes, normally termination of his rights will not be approved unless it is for adoption and the judge will not approve the termination till he also has the adoption paper work.

Also is this termination paper work that allows and is for adoption, not merely ending his visitation rights
